At Brampton Cortonwood we are passionate about delivering a curious, creative and challenging curriculum that is purposeful and relevant to our children and their needs. Our curriculum is centred around a Forest School ethos and our two Forest School areas are accessed, at least weekly, by all pupils from Smarties up to Year 2. Our Curriculum Intent and expectations can be found on this page.
Our team are developing and enhancing our bespoke curriculum that involves creating 'progression models' for each subject that will show the new knowledge that children will gain, at each part of their education, with us at Brampton Cortonwood.
This year, 2020-21, we will continue to develop our curriculum progression models, see below for those that have already been updated.
Here at Brampton Cortonwood Infant School we use Letters and Sounds to teach phonics across the school. This link will take you to the DfE Letters and Sounds Strategy.
If you have any further questions about our curriculum any member of our staff will be happy to talk to you.
