Thank you to The Big Lottery Fund for our recent successful grant application. This was used to create a brand new ICT suite where children can access the internet whilst being taught about online usage, safety and benefits. The popular suite also has a wall mounted projector and showcases some of our ICT work.
We have also received £4000 from the Tesco token competition. This was used for enhancements in FS2 outdoor provision and for Forest School areas around school. We have the Quad area (garden section in the centre of school) which houses our chickens, used for Mud Kitchen, tool introductions, den building, tree climbing, mud painting and so much more! We also have a section of the school field fenced off for Forest School where planting, den building, tree climbing, willow creating and more intricate sessions are held.
A very big THANK YOU to the Greggs Foundation for their recent donation. We are thrilled they agreed that our plans for the Quad are important for the children, parents and staff here at school. We will be doing a quad makeover very soon. We hope to create a useable, peaceful place where children, staff and parents can take some quiet time.
