L S Lowry was an English artist born in 1887. He was famous for painting scenes from busy towns and cities in the North of England.
At the moment, we are not used to busy places! Look at the examples below - the men look like matchsticks! See if you can draw us a picture of a busy town with lots of people to help us remember what that is like! In these paintings the sky is grey and it looks very cold! Your challenge is to make sure your drawings are set in a place where the sun is shining and everyone looks happy! For an added challenge can you include a rainbow in your artwork?
You can use pens, pencil, crayons or paint to create your picture ! Happy creating!
